"Fluffy Pancakes" for a cold winters morning

          * 1 Cup Flour
          * 2 Tbsp. Baking Powder
          * 2 Tbsp. sugar
          * 1/2 tsp salt
          * 1 egg beaten
          * 1 Cup Milk
          * 1 Tbsp Veg. Oil
          
             Sift dry ingredients together ~ Mix in wet ingredients.  Makes great silver dollar pancakes !!!

Somewhere in Bangkok/Route 10 Plainville/Southington line

My husband and I ~ along with several friends and family have dined ay Somewhere in Bangkok. The Service is always Friendly and great. Seating is a little tight. The earlier you get there for dinner the better. Best before 6pm. or you will definitely be waiting 15 or so minutes to be seated. The food is always fresh and we have never had a bad meal there.... It is a most to try !!! All the noodle and rice dishes are great and any specials they may have are always wonderful...............Oh ~ did I mention it's BYOB.

Holiday Faire

The Best Restaurant around is still my own kitchen !!

There is nothing more satisfying than curling up on the couch on a cold winters night with a soft blanket, a bowl of hot buttered popcorn ~ of course, with a dash of salt or grated parmesan cheese ~ and a decadent mug of hot chocolate. The Holidays are here !!! I'm hoping to sit back and take in all of what the season has to offer. I usually try to have a cookie swap ,wine swap with family and friends ~ Unfortunately, this is not the year. So, I thought this would be a great way to swap your favorite holiday cookie recipes. So lets try it.... Sharing all our favorites ~ Cookies, Breads, Dips, Swedish meatballs... ect... Hope to hear from you.......

Autumn is finally in the Air !!!

Two days off from work ~ Ahh what to do ? So much to do in the great month of Rocktober !! With the crisp air outside, fresh brewed coffee, hot steeped tea and home made maple scones are one of the must to do. I will let you all know how the recipe turns out and will certainly share them with friends and family.

Best Barbeque

Tell me about the best barbeques you have had or gone to this summer. Chicken, Seafood, Steaks,Chops, Beef ,Lamb or Pork. Good Old Grilled Hamburgers seem to be my favorite this summer and my husband is grilling them to perfection. What is your favorite cheese on a burger. Who knows. Maybe we will stop by with a grilled picnic dinner.
